Rail

Squamish is served by CN Rail, which is the only railroad which crosses the continent east-west and north-south serving ports on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf coasts while linking customers to all three NAFTA nations. Together with the Squamish deep sea port, Squamish Terminals, it operates a multi-modal transportation facility in Squamish.

The original strategy for building the railway through Squamish was to create a gateway for moving resources out of the interior of BC to the coast. This remains the focus today, continuing as a valuable asset to the local area and businesses. These resources include forestry, minerals, and other needs of the people and communities along the line.

Squamish houses 30 km of track in the local community, including the mainline, one yard of 6 tracks, and one track downtown to feed the specific industries located there. This track is ideal for connecting manufacturing facilities to the Squamish Terminals deep sea port.

What they're saying...

"With Squamish being the outdoor recreation capital of Canada, there is no better place to open a guided Sea Doo company."
