The second event in Squamish's BC Spirit Week exceeded all expectations!

Reel Movie Spirit Night saw eight local videographers and photographers show down to a full house at the Squamish Adventure Centre in answer to the question: "What does the spirit of Squamish mean to you?"

The Reel Movie Spirit Movie Night was a huge success, which brought a ton of positive spirit to the theatre in the Adventure Centre on February 11th, almost exactly one year to the Olympics. Every contestant brought their own creative positive spirit, but the ones to win the hearts of the judging audience were Dean Richards and Alex Sykora. They both took winnings of $750 each!!! With great company, food and submissions, we hope that over 50 people who attended can take what the spirit of Squamish means to them all the way to the Olympics. A special thanks to Tourism Squamish, Pause café, contestants and the judging spectators for making this a huge success!
