Echoflex was established in December 2005 by Brian Aikens and Shawn Pedersen to bring
wireless control solutions to lighting, HVAC and process control applications. Utilizing EnOcean's patented radio and energy harvesting
technology, Echoflex manufactures and distributes these products through selected representation and distribution channels.

A local company born out of a solutions based idea while biking the Powerhouse Plunge, these two Squamish based entrepreneurs have steadily balanced their day jobs while investing late evening time in the design and manufacturing of wireless, self-powered energy products and solutions.

2008 saw Echoflex place 3rd out of more than 200 BC based Companies in the New Ventures BC Competition.

Their nominator explains that "Echoflex is putting Squamish on the global map for REAL SOLUTIONS for needs-based lighting, space specific temperature control, and demand response needs in an effort to conserve energy and make the planet 'greener'."
