The local Squamish office of Aarm Dental Group received several nominations for Local Business of the Year, both from employees and satisfied clients. Both were impressed with owner Dr. Nancy Clayton's ability to run a successful business and her acitive participation in the "Women's Business Group" in Squamis. 

Nominators sited "the highest standard of customer service and with a consistent attention to employee happiness" among other reasons for the nomination. Nancy provides employment for 5 women other than herself, 4 of whom are Squamish residents.

The flexible hours to accommodate commuters is just one example of how the business is meeting the unique needs of Squamish residents, along with the 'kid friendly' environment to suit this community full of young families. 

As for community involvement, one nominator says you can always count on Dr. Clayton for valuable donations to community events and silent auctions, and mentions Dr. Clayton's bi-monthly educational pieces in Snap Newspaper as another example.
