Cowichan 2008 Spirit Pole - British Columbians carve a moment in history
If you've ever wanted to carve a totem pole, this is your chance. The Spirit Pole will travel across BC to be carved into a ceremonial totem pole. Join us for the live entertainment, cultural displays, official ceremonies and the chance to meet a master carver, and even carve the totem pole yourself. The Spirit Pole will be officially raised at the Cowichan 2008 North American Indigenous Games.
